How do I post a link?

Ok, I obviously don't know how to post a live link. I would also like to learn how to have a new window pop up when someone clicks on a link from our blog. Can anyone tell me how to do this??? Thanks!

    you have to be in "layout" and then find the gadget that says "post a link"--or call me and i can walk you though it :)
