Got her!

Maisy has always been strong willed and now she is putting in her 2 cents about what she wears. She decided she needed to wear socks, these socks specifically. She then put on her shoes and when I tried to take her picture she became bashful, but I finally got the picture! Today she wore her navy blue daisy dress with her brown polka dot leggings, the Dr. and our neighbors thought it was pretty funny. It's so fun to watch them grow into little people!

Our vegetables???

These might not look much like vegetables, they might not taste very delicious, but they are our vegetables, from our garden so we love them anyway!
I didn't know that onions grew flowers? Is this suppose to happen?
Isn't that the cutest corn you ever did see? Not to mention the little Bronco fan/farmer!

Michel's Rue

Maisy decided to accessorize Zach while he was sleeping. He was a tired pup, he did not move the whole time, even when Danny put popcorn in the side of his mouth. The girl loves shoes!
Once again, Matt lugged the rafts down from Boise. This time they
were actually used both in and out of the water
Here is the family in front of the cabin. Haleigh has more and better pictures up on their blog. We had a lot of fun and hope to go back up to Michel's Rue!

You look marvelous!

Thanks to Vicki for this fabulous outfit. Maisy loves the boa, jewelry and dolls. She keeps trying to bruch people's hair with that tiny brush. We had a great time with Dad and Vicki and hope to them again soon for another visit!

We're home!

Just thought I'd give a quick update. We got home last night after 7 days in SLC. We'd thought we would only be there for 4, but Matt had another interview - woo hoo! He also received a call this morning letting him know he made it through to the next interview/ride-along. He flies to Vegas Tuesday evening and flies home Wednesday night. We are praying and hoping that this job works out. If it does we will be moving to SLC! We would love to be closer to family. We are sooooo grateful to the Michels. We love staying with them and appreciate that they welcome our "extended stays." And yes, we will be back in 6 days - we miss you too much to stay away! Thank you so much for your hospitality! I'll post more later when I'm caught up on the laundry.

Back to SLC

Maisy and Bodhi took a snooze on the way down.
Kensie did Maisy's hair and Gentry shared a lovely princess dress! Maisy loves playing with her cousins!
Maisy saw the guitar and went to town!
We had fun while we were in SLC. We BBQ'd and went out to eat a couple of times. Sorry we didn't get to see the Gills though, maybe next time. I will probably be posting more pictures from Salt Lake soon because we are heading back down next Wednesday! Matt has a 2nd round interview next Thursday. Busy, busy. My dad and Vicki are coming to visit us here in Boise this Saturday to Tuesday and then we will leave on Wednesday. Oy vey!

So You Think You Can Dance

I hope Jeanine wins! I think she is the best and, again, I loved the Mia Michael's routine. She has a true gift. I am still upset that Ade went home, but I think Jeanine should take the win. And why can't Mary Murphy give Evan any love? What was that about? He's such a sweetheart. Hope I don't miss the show tonight. Oh yeah, there is a good freebie at Aveda. Here is the link: http://www.avedabday.com/stimulus_offer.php http://www.freestufftimes.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/stimulus_complete_foot_relief_coupon_bw.png I hope to find a store when we're in SLC this weekend.

Salt Lake City

We had a lot of fun last weekend. I got home and realized I didn't take very many pictures though. We drove down last Friday and came home on Sunday, the trip was short but sweet. It was great to be a part of Emma's birthday and baptism. We were also happy to see the Ackers, Maisy hadn't played with those cousins in a long time. I was glad to get a picture of Jaxson with a pink feather boa around his neck. He probably won't be happy about that in a few years. Actually, I got pictures of both those Acker boys with the boa! Derek, why wouldn't you pose for the camera as well? I did get a picture of those fancy church shoes though! Thank you Amy for all of the dress up clothes and stroller. Maisy is loving life, Bodhi not so much since Maisy just chases him around with the stroller!

Oy vey

Ok, it is definitely time for those bangs to be cut! What is up with that curl? Anyway, Maisy took my ice cream cone! She enjoyed it more than I did so I let her keep it. How could I say no to that face? After that we painted a rock. Most people would probably use a nice round rock and acrylic paints. Not us, we used a piece of concrete and some gel finger paints. Oh, we are turning into trailer people sooner than I expected. Oy. After she was done and it dried Bodhi then took the rock and his mouth turned blue. Needless to say, we said bye bye to the rock.
