Rockstar
Maisy loves wearing these tan and gold platform sandals and the other day she decided that she should wear them with her pajamas. She then proceeded to get her little guitar, sing us a song and put on a show. Oh, money can't buy this kind of entertainment! Is it possible to love more that one this much?
Seattle
My cousin Jake (Daryl and Michele's son) is getting married (to Lara who we love) in Serbia in September. Michele and Daryl threw a "get acquainted" boat party this last weekend and we drove up with my mom. We had a great time. Friday afternoon we had a picnic at a park off of Lake Sammamish with 3 of Michele's 4 sisters and their kids and grand kids. We love those Canadians! Maisy had great fun playing with Yvonne, Lyla, Mia and Madison.
Saturday we took it easy, visited with everyone and then we boarded "My Girl" around 5 and cruised around, ate some delicious food and enjoyed the view until 9. It's always nice getting to know the people that you love a little better. I've never met so many world travelers before! I wish I had taken more pictures, because the sunset and scenery was gorgeous. We hope to go back up there soon.
Visit with Momo
We had a great visit with my mom. My mom took us out for some delicious meals, we found a couple of great restaurants in town. We also decorated some curtains for Maisy's room. I bought some white curtains from the neighbors at a garage sale and we spruced them up with some of the left over fabric form Maisy's comforter. Thanks to my mom her room is finally decorated!
My mom had also bought some cute flowers and a dragonfly in Charlotte when she was visiting my sister. They look really cute in her room! Other than the ladybug tent everything matches! I'm not complaining though, because it looks and smells better than the camping tent that was in there a few weeks ago!
Every time Maisy walks by our guest room she asks where Momo is, it's breaking my heart. We all miss her already!
Thank you for everything mom!

Free Time!!
HOW CUTE AM I?
Matt has had a little free time on his hands the last couple of weeks, so he has been doing a litttle work around the yard. He found a free swingset and completely tore it apart, sanded it down, reinforced it and stained it. He had a little extra stain, so he sanded down the patio set and stained it to match the swing set. His last little project was to sand and paint Maisy's tricycle. Maisy has a lot to play with now, but Matt is all out of projects.

So You Think You Can Dance
As you may know, I am a huge fan of this show, I can't get enough of it! This season Jeanine and Ade are a few of my favorites. I hope they get partnered next week.
I was so moved by Mia Michaels routine tonight, tears were streaming down my face. I am a bit emotional, I'll admit, but that dance really resonated with me. Kupono and Kayla aren't my favorite dancers, but I loved that routine, it was choreographed and danced beautifully! I love that song too. It's one of those routines that will stick with me for awhile.
Who are your favorites? What has been your favorite dance so far? Talk to me people...
Playing with the neighbors
Here are a few pictures of Maisy playing with the neighbors. She loves her new little friends, first thing she says in the morning "I want to play with Bridgette and Danielle!" Bridgette is almost 3 and Danielle is almost 5. Maisy has fun, she is a little "rough and tumble" for Bridgette, but they're both finding a happy middle ground. Turns out the girls aren't as resilient as she and Bodhi!
We have also been taking advantage of the free family movies at our local theaters. They play every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday through the summer. We've seen Horton Hears a Who and Space Chimps. Next week it's Kung Fu Panda and/or The Tale of Despereaux! Here is the link to find them in your area:
