Valentine's Day

We had a great time at Maisy's Valentine's party. They sang a cute song and made us gifts. I made her a heart shaped lunch. Matt gave us a fun dinner, heart shaped pizza and plates. Balloons and flowers, he even gave me a new pair of slippers! Then the real fun began, Matt sent Maisy on a scavenger hunt! She loved it! The final gift were the missing princesses from her collection. I didn't get pictures, but Beck got an airplane toy and a set of books that talk. Then Maisy, Beck and I frosted an angel food cake with pink frosting (an Arney tradition) what a fun day!!!

Hmmm...

Beck is 2!

I can't believe our little guy is 2 already! Maisy helped Beck figure out what to do with the candles Beck received lots of toys! A dump truck full of brownie bites! Yummy! He had help opening his presents, books, puzzles, toys, clothes, trucks.... This boy is loved! Beck was feeling shy at breakfast. Maisy was not, she wanted to show off her hair! She loves the barrett crown.
Another creation designed and modeled by Maisy. Really Bodhi, right after you pulled Maisy down and dragged her across the yard and over the slide? Really. When asked why Beck was wearing a dress she said "well, I didn't want to go to the ball alone." He doesn't seem really into the pic, does he? I made Maisy this play skirt. Cute from a distance, but an embarrassment up close! My sewing skills need improvement!

He's just chillin'

Does anybody know what this thing does?

I think he thinks it's supposed to move by itself.

Maisy the designer

Maisy and I have been watching Project Runway this season. A decision I may regret later due some not so G rated language. She loves the show and wanted to play fashion show. She chose all of the clothes, jewelry, hair accessories, poses and she even did both of our make up. I have never seen her happier, she really liked being "in charge" of me and the clothes. Daddy was our photographer even though he was watching football!
Maisy was also thrilled that Aunt Stacie played with her when we went down to Logan. You'll have to look for those pics on the Jewett blog.

Maisy's quilt

Maisy wanted to make a quilt for her dolls so we made a paper quilt. We used lots of different patterens, as she calls them, lots of fun!

Movie fun

Maisy and I had a mommy/daughter date and went to see the Chipmunks movie. She had more fun in the lobby I think!
